You know the end of the year will soon be upon us when the “BIG” money shows starting to appear. Many teams look at these shows as a jump start to the 2011 season.
First on the list is tonight with the Carl McElroy Memorial sponsored by Xcel Chassis along with Joe Fanelli. In his quest to honor his friend, Joe has been able to secure a $500.00 payout to the night’s winner.
Sept. 5th will be the next BIG show at Penn Can Speedway. Reed Miller and Al Wilcox have announced the sliding scale payout for all divisions. The first annual Northeast Small Car Classis is shaping up to have a great turnout. Remember the bigger the car count, the bigger the payout. Check out all the info at their website www.penncan.com
This year will be the inaugural Bill Hess Memorial 50 lapper held at Lindas Speedway. Bill Hess was not only a great photographer but one hell of a nice guy who never got the accolades he truly deserved.
Hot laps will be on Friday Sept. 24th with a full card on Sat. Sept. 25th with time trials deciding heat race line-ups along with a $1000.00 check waiting for someone in victory lane. Lap sponsorships are now available for $15.00 per lap and will be applied to the final payout for the division. This is a great way to thank anyone and everyone from the 2010 season, anniversaries, birthdays or just to show your pride. Laps will be first come/first serve basis. If the lap you chose is already taken the nearest lap available will be chosen. You may reserve a lap by contacting JoAnne at

or calling 570-872-2229. Payment must be submitted by Sept. 18th along with your name and a phone number you can be reached at along with what lap # and what you want it to say. The deadline date will be firm as we need time for the advertisers to do their job.
