Kevin Halye takes the Rocket to victory Lane for the 3rd time Saturday night . Thumbs up for Gerry, after last weeks ruff track Gerry was on his game, the track was smooth and not to bad on tires. Once again Halye is in the news he said it was the numbers, he pulled a 3 for the heat, won the heat, pulled a 3 for the feature on the pole always a plus. His brother Scott came in 3rd in karts, Mike Swisher yes number 3M won the 270 class, and I had on the Dale Earnhart #3 T-shirt, now thats a lotta threes. In Halyes interview he commented on the fans in the grandstands for braving the rain that started near the end of the race, its always good to see so many fans, they also stayed for all the photo sessions. His friend Mike Koehler #22 was close behind finishing 2nd and 3rd was John Gearhart 10. Mike Swisher won the 270 Reg Div. and Sammy Crone took the win in the Rookie Feature. On another note I would like to thank all the fans, drivers,and crews for there donations to The Welsh Kart Team. 9 yr old Trevor Welsh up and coming Kart racer lost his father recently.
