It with great regret that I announce that there will not be a 600 Pro Series in 2012 or the foreseeable future.

I started the 600 Pro Series with hope that it would bring much deserved attention to the 600 class. My heart has been and will always be with the 600 Sprint class. There is so much talent and I believe the level of competition in this class is unrevieled.

There are a few reasons why I cannot continue the Pro Series but the biggest reason is time. It is incredibly time consuming putting together and maintaining a season long series. My business is as busy as it has ever been and I simply do not have the time that it would take to gather sponsorship and run a 10-12 race series.

There are so many people that are responsible for the success of the Pro Series. The sponsors and membership of the series are the best folks that I could ever have hoped to be affiliated with. Over the 3 years of the Pro Series we averaged 40 cars per race!!!! that is simply incredible!!! I will always remember Pro Series events as some of the most intense races I have ever witnessed and the championships in all 3 years coming down to the last race. It couldn't have been scripted it any better.

There are so many people that benefit from the car counts and the success of the 600 class yet there were only a select few who decided to participate financially in the Pro Series and to them I will be forever indebted. Hoosier Tire Mid Atlantic, NPS Racing Engines, Hyper Racing, RTS Chassis, Susquehanna Valley Speed Shop, Shred Racing, Wing Dynamics, Jr Michalski , Gary Spotts , Dave Bodine , Letter Works Sign Company, and Tim's Shock Lab. I have said it before and I will say it again and again. These select few are the businesses felt obliged to return something back to our racers. remember that when it comes time to spend your racing money

Even though the Pro Series isn't going to be active in 2012 I will be looking at putting a race or two together this year.

I have made many life long friends from being involved in the Pro Series and that in it self is reason enough to consider the Pro Series a success. So to everyone I say good luck in 2012 and I will certainly be seeing you around the racetrack...somewhere

Thank You......Wayne Lesher
