Mission Statement

It is the mission of 600Scene to provide up-to-date information online which is technical, informative and media relevant in nature to that of 600cc micro sprint racing. The website is a source for all active racers, specifically that of 600cc competitors, crews, fans and manufacturers alike.

 

Executive Summary - Kevin Steele: Kevin started racing go-karts at the age of 10 and has been exposed to racing all his life. He is a 1999 graduate of Shippensburg University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration as a Marketing Major and is Total Quality Management Certified. Prior to graduation Kevin worked as an intern at CV Products in Thomasville, NC. CV Products is one of the motorsports industries major manufactures and suppliers of high performance racing technology. Upon graduation Kevin became the Marketing and Public Relations director for current NASCAR Nextel Cup Series driver and 2003 NASCAR Busch Grand National Series Champion Brian Vickers. After moving back to Pennsylvania at the beginning of 2002 and serving briefly as an Advertising Coordinator for Area Auto Racing News, he went to work for his family’s business H.B. Steele & Son Inc., a residential fuel oil company serving Northern Berks and Southern Schuylkill counties. Kevin desires to be a third generation successor to the family business. He has always had an active interest in micro sprint racing and has been serving as a mechanic and consultant for Schoenly Enterprises Inc. for the past several years. Kevin currently resides in Orwigsburg, PA.

Executive Summary - Dillon Stein: Some of Dillon's earliest racing memories are of watching flat track motorcycles ridden by his father's friends. Like many young racing fans of the time, he spent his formative childhood years cheering on his favorite drivers at the famed Reading Fairgrounds. After racing go-karts for a brief period of time, Dillon started racing micro sprints in 1999 with the purchase of a 270. He made the switch to 600's in 2004 and finished 6th in the overall points championship at Linda's Speedway. Dillon has a Specialized Associated Degree in Electronics, is an A+ Certified PC Technician and has three levels of certification as an Internet Webmaster. Dillon is a freelance graphic/web designer and owns his own design studio, Dillon Stein Design. He resides with his family in Orwigsburg, PA.
