Kutztown Season Opener Wed., May 14; AMB Transponder Scoring To Be Used In '08 Kutztown, PA - The time has come. Spring semester classes at Kutztown University are winding down, meaning the midweek excitement of Micro-Sprint and Slingshot racing will return to the one-fifth-mile clay oval Fairgrounds at Kutztown Speedway. |

Rochester, NY - Young Ryan Jordan and his 2008 Hyper Chassis #22 took home his first ever NYMM Series feature win Saturday night at the Paradise Speedway. |
Delmarva, DE - The old saying "you can't win the race on the first lap" didn't ring true for Luke Thomas on Friday night in the 600 Micro feature. Mike Baker started on the pole with "Racin" Randy Oswald and Thomas on the second row. Oswald drove into turn one hard on the start, contacting the side of Baker's car. |

Visalia, CA - The third event of the season at Giant Chevrolet Raceway at Plaza Park found another large field of cars competing on the 1/5 mile clay oval. Bakersfield’s Buddy Shepherd captured his first ever feature win in the Junior Sprint division with 16 cars on hand. Cody Smothermon from Porterville captured the Restricted 600 feature with 21 cars competing. The always exciting Super 600 class had 38 cars in the pits which saw Tipton’s Dylan Black take the feature win in the final event of the night. |

Spring Run, PA - Past champion Jimmy Brookens got his first win of the season in 600 Sprints and Sean Good won in 270 Sprints. The Legends win was the first ever for Scott Houdeshell. Local stock car wins went to Terry Smith in the Thunder Cars and Jeremy Ott in Mini Stocks. |
New Castle, DE - The 600 feature had Jack Conover and Luke Thomas leading the pack to the green flag. Conover wasted no time in putting the JR Culler #89 machine out front. Thomas hung tight thru lapped traffic. Thomas, however, brought out the yellow on lap 14 for a spin in turn 3. Jon Holmquist Jr, always a threat to be in contention for a top finish position, moved past Stewart Carmichael as the laps toward the checker counted down leaving Carmichael holding onto the third spot throughout the 25 circuits. The Angelo Mercado fans were disappointed as the familiar #3 was a DNF just after half-way. |
